Anita Kaur

With over two decades of experience in education, Anita is a dedicated and fearless leader with a compelling vision for education and the advancement of MATs. Awarded British Sikh Woman of the Year in 2023, Anita serves as the CEO of ONE Multi Academies Trust, a fully inclusive Sikh faith-based trust in the West Midlands.

 

Anita, former Principal at The Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton with a background in Computer Science, is a passionate advocate for digital education. She champions accessible learning opportunities aiming to nurture well-rounded individuals. Her goal is to mould individuals who excel academically and contribute meaningfully to the local community and beyond.

 

Anita holds herself to high standards and is committed to fostering educational excellence rooted in her morals and Sikh values. She actively leads various educational initiatives in the West Midlands, including her role as joint chair of the DfE’s SEND/AP/Behaviour Learning set and Chair of the AI learning set. Anita is also registered with the National Sikh Organisation (NSO) as a Section 48 Faith Inspector for Sikh Schools.

 

Anita finds fulfilment in charitable work and brings those personal development experiences into The Trust. As a patron of Binti International, she contributes to causes close to her heart, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact on a global scale.

 

Anita’s leadership is not just about managing institutions; it’s about inspiring a generation, instilling values, and paving the way for a brighter future in education and beyond.
