Amarbeer Singh
Amarbeer has worked in schools for over a decade. In that time he has had various roles in the secondary maths classroom and school and trust leadership, before moving into teacher education.
Amarbeer believes classroom teachers play key roles in levelling the playing field and ensuring that all students, regardless of background, can succeed in school and beyond. He puts this into practice through his work as Assistant Director of Greenshaw Research School, a teacher educator for Ambition Institute, and providing bespoke Teaching & Learning consultancy. He has an MA in Expert Teaching, written a book on teaching, and written journal articles and blogs for organisations such as the Education Endowment Foundation and the Chartered College of Teaching.
Passionate about social justice, Amarbeer founded Inspired Learning, a charity offering free tuition and internships to local students. He aims for The Association of Sikh Teachers to inspire future Sikh educators and leaders.
